Standard Grit

Our standard grit non-slip tapes provide an economical way to enhance the safety of critical areas such as stairs and ramps. They are also effective on boats, ferries and other water-craft. The self-adhesive backing tenaciously bonds to clean stable substrates including concrete; timber, tile, marble, granite and terrazzo. Once stuck down, the tapes can be walked upon immediately avoiding down-time. Please note: surfaces must be clean and smooth before placing tape. Porous materials such as concrete should first be sealed/painted prior installation.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Abrasive surface comprised of 60# aluminium oxide mineral for a long service life bonded to a PVC carrier
  • Self-adhesive – pressure sensitive adhesive backing
  • P5 slip resistance classification
  • 50mm wide version allows for AS1428.1:2009 compliance on stairs when correct colours are specified
