How to Install

Common substrates and floor coverings which nosing are installed onto include concrete, timber, tile, vinyl flooring, luxury vinyl tiles, carpet, rubber flooring, aluminium and steel.

The installation method varies depending on the above however, the basic approach is as follows:

1. Ensure step is clean
2. Apply mastic adhesive to back of nosing (not required when fixing to carpet)
3. Fix nosing to substrate by driving the screws into pre-installed plugs (masonry) or by directly drilling into the timber treads
4. Fix included stair nosing insert to stair nosing base channel (this hides the screws)
