  • The S Series stair nosing is specially designed for surface-mount installations
  • TRAKA insert consists of a highly non-slip carborundum grit surface which has outstanding wear resistance for use in even the highest traffic situations
  • BLACK anodised aluminium extrusion
  • Installed with a combination of adhesive and screws, this product offers trouble free performance in most internal & external environments*
  • Applications include main feature and egress stairs in schools, universtities, commercial buildings, railway stations, stadiums and anywhere else thousands of pedestrians will travel up and down each day
  • *Due to the abrasive finish of the insert, the cleaning method should also be considered. For internal carpeted stairs or areas which are frequently mopped, the S Series with aluminium or vinyl inserts are more suitable. Please contact us for recommendations.
  • Designed for surface mount / retro-fit applications on existing stair treads
  • Suitable for use on square edged stairs, pencil edge as well as larger bull nosed edges
  • AS1428.1:2021 compliant design (75x10mm overall)
  • Concealed fixings - first the extrusion is fixed to the substrate by way of screws and adhesive and then the insert is adhered to the extrusion with included high performance PSA tape

HOW TO SPECIFY
Product shall be Safety Stride S SERIES stair nosing - CLEAR anodised aluminium extrusion, TRAKA BLACK abrasive insert, P5 rated for extremely high traffic internal/external, dry/wet use. Fixing method: chemical and mechanical - all fixings shall be concealed.
