  • The J Series stair nosing is specially designed for surface-mount installations over timber stairs
  • Black textured vinyl insert is suitable for internal/dry stairs and is easy to clean via microfibre mop or vacuum
  • The aluminium is black anodised
  • Suitable for all low-moderate traffic internal/dry timber stairs, with a square or pencil edge in which a black contrasting nosing is required
  • Designed for surface mount / retro-fit applications on existing stair treads
  • 50mm wide aluminium profile is the minimum allowable dimensions under AS1428.1 and appeals to those seeking a minimal stair nosing look
  • Suitable for use on square edged stairs and pencil edged stairs only
  • Please note that due to the fixing location, the J Series is not recommended for carpeted, tiled or stairs with a large radius/bull nose on the leading edge.
  • BLACK anodised aluminium profile and BLACK insert provide contrast over light coloured substrates as per AS 1428.1:2021
  • Supplied with internal rated, textured vinyl self-adhesive tape insert
  • Concealed fixings - first the extrusion is fixed to the substrate by way of screws and adhesive and then the insert is adhered to the extrusion

HOW TO SPECIFY
Product shall be Safety Stride J SERIES stair nosing, BLACK anodised aluminium extrusion, BLACK textured vinyl insert, P3 rated for internal/dry use only. Fixing method: chemical and mechanical - all fixings shall be concealed.
